About Me

Hi, I’m Matthew, the founder of Local Roots CR. I’m a gardener, educator, and content creator on a mission to connect people with the land and each other through gardening.

I love using my background in community organizing, food systems, and landscape design to create beautiful and productive spaces that provide nourishing food, enjoyment, and meaningful connections.

Local Roots CR is a micro-farm and landscape/garden consultation company I started to complement a new project I’m working on, exploring the rich connections within local food culture. 🌱
